Review Usage and Recommendations
- Navigate to the commitment’s overview to evaluate its utilization over the commitment term.
- Review Google Cloud’s recommendations, which may include renewing the commitment, adjusting the amount of resources, or selecting a different type or term.
- Assess whether the commitment has delivered cost benefits and if your current or projected usage justifies a new commitment.

Take Action
- If continued coverage is required, purchase a new commitment with the same or modified terms.
- If the commitment is no longer needed (e.g., associated resources have been decommissioned), take no action. The commitment will expire automatically if automatic renewal disabled, and resources will revert to on-demand rates.
- If requirements have changed, acquire a commitment with a different scope, term, or resource type that better aligns with your organization’s needs.
